HOW A SUPPORTERS’ PROJECT TURNED GREENHILL ROAD BLACK AND WHITE

Enjoy a walk with key figures from the St Mirren story as featured on The Mirren Mile, Greenhill Road, Paisley – the route to St Mirren Park.

This new book from Jack Paterson (Black and White magazine) and Brian Corry (Cairters’ Corner) covers the concept and creation of The Mirren Mile – a project conceived by Saints’ fans Kenny Lang and Paul Gilligan and delivered thanks to members of the Marching On Supporters’ Group and donations from individual St Mirren supporters.

It tells of the work behind the scenes before introducing you to the heroes featured on The Mirren Mile, delves forensically into their back stories and provides an insight into the Club’s past for younger supporters.

Read about James Dunlop – one of the greatest Scottish players of his generation – who died following an injury sustained playing for Saints.

Learn of the lives and careers of legends Jock Bradford, Davie McCrae, David Lapsley and Billy Abercromby.

The book also details St Mirren’s complete European record (to date),
The Millennium Champions, Anglo Scottish Cup, Scottish Cup and League Cup victories are fully covered as is the history of the first St Mirren Park at Love Street – where the ghosts still play!

The Mirren Mile makes an ideal gift or keepsake for any St Mirren fan and a terrific present at any time of year.

Important
--------------

The publication lists the names made available of supporters by the ‘Marching On Group’ that contributed to the financing of The Mirren Mile. Your name may be in print, however, as some supporters chose ‘no publicity’ at the time of their donation this is not guaranteed.

The EU – an apology
--------------------------

Due to overly complex postal requirements and costs (in the wake of Brexit) – around paperwork, customs, tax and duties – we suggest that should a friend or family member living in the EU wish a copy, then they arrange for their purchase to be completed for them in one of the four countries above and make arrangements to suit thereafter.

Likewise, as postal costs are so expensive anywhere else in the world, it is suggested that family members purchase copies on behalf of friends overseas.
